Early Learning Diploma Assistant - Barangaroo 

The Centre

Centrally located and easily accessible from both Wynyard train station and the newly opened Barangaroo Ferry Terminal, Guardian Early Learning Centre – Barangaroo offers a world-class early learning experience with the convenience of a CBD location. At Barangaroo, sustainability is a core focus, starting with our six-star green building, to much of our furniture and indoor equipment made from natural materials to our sustainability programs which include recycling, use of recycled resources, energy efficiency and water conservation, all embedded in daily routines of the service.

 

The Role

A Diploma Qualified Educator at Guardian Early Learning Centre - Barangaroo, you will be joining an early learning group that offers a supportive peer network, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

As a Diploma Assistant, you will work with other educators to:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Ensure a current educational program is visible in the centre and on Storypark, for families to view and contribute their ideas and suggestions.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and National Regulations
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum
  • Document children's learning and development.

 

The Candidate

  • You'll have a love for early childhood education
  • Practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Completed Diploma in Children's Services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, for your families and for your Educator colleagues
