This role offers you an autonomous management role at a large, well established centre in need of strong leadership.  You are also joining a dynamic early learning group that offers a supportive peer network of 35 colleagues, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

The role

Coco's Early Learning is a 120 place centre with an educator team of more than 20 professionals.  It offers a wonderful program that is deeply connected with nature, within the context of a passionate parent group from the surrounding community.

As Centre Manger, you will have ultimate responsibility for the performance of your centre, measured against:

  • quality of service and pedagogical leadership
  • team leadership and educator engagement
  • parent satisfaction
  • financial outcomes

You will be supported in your role by an Assistant Manager, Office Administrator and Education Leader, plus you will have access to a network of like-minded peers and support office professionals.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who meets most of the following criteria:

  • experience running a large, high quality early learning centre at peak performance
  • at least 5 years' experience as Centre Manager
  • an outgoing personality who finds it easy to engage with fellow educators, families and the local community
  • a good working knowledge of and commitment to the National Quality Standard and regulatory compliance
  • a passion for early years pedagogy, preferably the Reggio Emilia approach, which underpins the Guardian Curriculum that we wish to implement at the centre
  • a great leader of people, who educators want to come to work for each day
  • a passion for personal development and career progression
