Guardian Early Learning

This role offers you the opportunity to become a Casual Educator at one of our incredible child care and early learning centres. You are also joining a dynamic early learning group that offers a supportive peers, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

The Centre

This 186-place centre in Altona North boasts unique indoor/outdoor environments, state-of-the-art facilities and plenty of materials and resources. We have developed strong relationships with our families and the local community and are proud of our team of passionate early childhood professionals. 

The role

Altona North ELC is a centre that provides a welcoming, relaxed and natural environment for children, families and staff. The centre offers a wonderful program that is deeply connected with nature, within the context of a passionate parent group from the surrounding community.

As Casual Certificate III Assistant, you will work with other educators:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and National Regulations
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum
  • Document children's learning and development

 

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Completed Certificate III in Children's Services 
  • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates;
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
