This role offers you the opportunity to become a Inclusion Support Educator at one of our incredible child care and early learning centres.  You are also joining a dynamic early learning group that offers a supportive peers, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

The Centre 

Playdays Wahroonga Uniquely located on the grounds of the Sydney Adventist Hospital, this 66-place centre boasts being rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care. Our custom-designed outdoor spaces provide endless opportunities for children to learn through the sandpit, mud pit, beautiful gardens and water play space. Our friendly educators have built up wonderful relationships with parents and are passionate professionals in the area of early childhood education.

The role

As Certificate 3 Assistant, you will work with other educators:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and National Regulations
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum
  • Document children's learning and development.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Completed Certificate 3 in Children's Services along with sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework;
  • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates;
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, for your families and for your Educator colleagues
