The Centre

Located near Parramatta Road only a short walk away to RPA Hospital, it is close to public transport into the CBD area with off street parking available for parents during drop off and pick up times.  We provide long day care in a secure and comforting setting where young children are nurtured through our nursery, toddler, kinder and preschool programs by our exceedingly caring and highly-qualified educators. Children at Camperdown have open access to bright, nature-inspired spaces, structures and experiences with plenty of room for growing, inquisitive and energetic bodies to play, relax or quietly explore.

 

The Role

A Diploma Qualified Educator at Guardian Early Learning Centre – Camperdown, you will be joining an early learning group that offers a supportive peer network, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

As a Diploma Assistant, you will work with other educators to:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Ensure a current educational program is visible in the centre and on Storypark, for families to view and contribute their ideas and suggestions.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and National Regulations
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum
  • Document children's learning and development.

 

The Candidate

  • You'll have a love for early childhood education
  • Practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Completed Diploma in Children's Services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, for your families and for your Educator colleagues
