Guardian Childcare & Early Learning – Bentleigh East

This role offers you the opportunity to become the early childhood teacher at one of our early childhood centres.  You are also joining a passionate early learning group that offers supportive peers, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

The Centre  

Our 120-place centre has been specially designed to maximise natural light and provide plenty of space for energetic and inquisitive young bodies to safely explore. Families are strongly involved in life at our centre and our team of diverse and passionate educators create a supportive and inspiring environment.

The Role

You'll work as an active leading team member, providing a safe, stimulating and educational environment which meets the requirements of the children and family's individual needs.  

You'll ensure the individual needs of our Kindergarten children are met, on a typical day you will educate and care for 16 children whilst working alongside another other passionate and dedicated educator.

The Candidate

You'll be an educator with a child lead pedagogy philosophy, your experience building relationships with parents and children will be key to your success in this role. 

Along with your significant experience working in early learning environments, the following will be highly-regarded as we assess your skills/qualifications for a role with us.

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA assessed equivalent qualifications
  • Practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework;
  • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates;
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, for your families and for your Educator colleagues
