Over the past twelve years we have accumulated a national network of more than 90 of Australia's leading early learning centres, for both large corporates as well as local community based centres.  We're continuing to grow and to support our growth we have a newly created Account Manager position available in our Enrolments Contact Centre team.

The Role

Reporting to the Contact Centre Manager, you'll be tasked with managing a territory of childcare centres, where you will be responsible for enrolments and converting sales leads while continuing to develop a pipeline from existing family enquiries. You will also be responsible for executing activity from a campaign calendar and maximising opportunities created by our Business Development team.

You'll enjoy these key parts of your role;

  • Managing the conversion of warm leads into tours booked and/or successful enrolments
  • Maintaining a solid opportunity pipeline
  • Ensure each call offers a personalised customer experience by taking a genuine interest in the needs of our families and effectively match customer's needs with relevant Guardian centres
  • Account management of existing and new centres
  • Execution of campaign calendar activity and monthly cycle priorities
  • Linking in with the Business Development team to execute ad hoc activity as required and support marketing plans
  • Perform outbound emails and calls
  • Follow up all enquiries and close off all opportunities in a robust and methodical manner
  • Escalate relevant enquiries/opportunities to appropriate management referral points
  • Build trust and rapport with prospective customers with a customer service led approach to their childcare needs. For many families, you are educating them not just on Guardian, but on the industry

About you

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Impeccable listening skills, great story-tellers and communicators
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst completing all work at a high standard
  • Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
  • Customer centric approach
  • Confident when answering questions and overcoming objections
  • Strong negotiation skills, sales ability and persuasiveness
  • Positive, proactive and high emotional intelligence
  • Solutions orientated approach
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment with a high stress tolerance
  • Ability to personalise the customer experience for each call, whilst telling the Guardian and centre story
