The Centre

Conveniently located near both Victoria Road and Ryde Aquatic Centre, and situated close to public transport, this 90-place centre offers varied, fun and interesting learning experiences tailored to the individual interests of each child. Work alongside our team of passionate educators and Centre Manager in beautiful learning spaces which include an architecturally-designed outdoor area and inspiring indoor environments.

Your Role

You'll work as an active leading team member, providing a safe, stimulating and educational environment which meets the requirements of the children and family's individual needs.  You'll encourage key stakeholder engagement and participation in curriculum decision making, in addition to guiding and supporting colleagues with their pedagogical practice.

You'll enjoy our Kinder room and though daily observations, you'll ensure the individual needs of our 4-5 year old room are meet while working alongside passionate and dedicated educators.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) 
  • a good working knowledge of and commitment to the National Quality Standard/National Quality Framework, regulatory compliance and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Familiarity with the Childcare management software Qikkids
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement work programs, maintain relevant records
