Early Learning Diploma Assistant - Market Street, Sydney

This role offers you the opportunity to become a Diploma Qualified Educator at one of our incredible child care and early learning centres. You are also joining a dynamic early learning group that offers supportive peers, and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres and support offices.

 

The Centre

Queens View Early Learning Centre is located in the heart of the city, with a large outdoor play space that offers amazing views of Sydney Tower and the Queen Victoria Building. The children love to play outside on the open-air deck, where they can take in the sights and sounds of the bustling city around them.

 

The Role

As a Diploma Qualified Assistant, you will work with other educators to:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and National Regulations
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum
  • Document children's learning and development

 

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Completed Diploma in Children's Services along with sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, for your families and for your Educator colleagues
